چکیده

The breathing-mode giant monopole resonance is studied within the framework of the rel-ativistic mean-field (RMF) theory. Using a broad range of parameter sets, a systematic analysis of constrained incompressibility and excitation energy of isoscalar monopole states in finite nuclei is performed. A comparison is made with the incompressibility derived from the semi-infinite nuclear matter and with constraint nonrelativistic Skyrme Hartree-Fock calculations. Investigating the dependence of the breathing-mode energy on the nuclear matter incompressibility, it is shown that dynamical properties of surface respond differently in the RMF theory than in the Skyrme approach.

We study strangeness (K + , K − , and Λ) production and flow in Ni+Ni collisions at 1-2 AGeV, based on the relativistic transport model including the strangeness degrees of freedom. We find that strangeness spectra and flow are sensitive to the properties of strange hadrons in nuclear medium. The predictions of the chiral perturbation theory that the K + feels a weak repulsive potential and K −...

We apply the time-dependent variational principle, the nuclear field theory, and the boson expansion method to the Lipkin model to discuss anharmonicities of collective vibrational excitations. It is shown that all of these approaches lead to the same anharmonicity to leading order in the number of particles. Comparison with the exact solution of the Lipkin model shows that these theories repro...

We study theoretically the spin response functions using the relativistic many body theory. The spin response functions in the relativistic theory are reduced largely from the ones of the non-relativistic theory. This happens particularly to the longitudinal spin responses. This fact is able to remove the difficulty in reproducing the ratio of the longitudinal and transverse response functions ...

Elements of a new model of strong interactions are described. The model is based on an extension of electrodynamics that is derived from a regular Lagrangian density. Here the electric and magnetic fields of Maxwell equations play a symmetric role. It is shown that results are in accordance with general properties of nuclear and nucleon systems.
